Harem
Harem is a sub-genre of anime and manga characterized by a protagonist surrounded by three or more members of the opposite sex. The most common scenario is a male surrounded by multiple female partners, with each female personifying a popular character type. When the situation is reversed and there is one female surrounded by males, it is referred to as a reverse harem.
